My sister bought a mini van for her kids the other day. She has three kids and I’m sure many agree — while it’s not a sexy car, it’s a very functional vehicle. Not to mention, we grew up with mini vans so I understand why people buy them.
Because of this, I had a funny and unexpected conversation with my partner today. He initiated the convo by saying — ”no matter what happens, can we not buy a mini van?”. He brought up the topic thinking I might strongly disagree but instead, I laughed out loud. I realized we all have some future goals to dodge and this was one simple opinion he’s obviously entitled to have.
So his answer: He will never buy [a mini van].
My answer: I will never buy [cigarettes].
Whether it’s a strong opinion or a silly item, how would you fill in this blank?
