When are you the most stressed? How do you cope?

I've found that a lot of people I know are particularly stressed at a certain time of day. I tend to be stressed in the morning before work or right before bed — the two times I'm anticipating what I need to do and feel powerless to do it! I usually try to cope with this with some kind of mindfulness. At night, I journal and in the morning I read. But more than anything, I try to remind myself I shouldn't be doing anything at those times! When are you most stressed and how do you cope? I have some friends who are very stressed during work.

i am most stressed when I cannot fix something that needs to be fixed. Either I don't know how, or I know how and I don't have permission or ability to make the fix.

I'm generally most stressed on Mondays. I think it's the beginning of the week kind of thing... I cope by actually preparing more on Sunday night.

My planner makes me list things I am grateful for every day. I try to do it when I'm feeling stressed (usually in the mornings) so that I can chill a little and just appreciate where I'm at!

I used to wake up with anxiety/stress every day. Just thinking about what the next 12 hours help was enough to get my heart racing before my feet hit the floor. And making it worse was that I am NOT a morning person. A friend gave me a copy of The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod and it has changed everything for me - not just about my stress in the mornings - but everything about my entire day. The advice in the book may sound a little cliche but it's working for me.

I often feel the most stressed right before bed, and in more intense periods, right when I wake up. I've had to exercise more, go to acupuncture and yes, practice mindfulness but more so, meditation to help relieve stress/anxiety.
