I heard a guy talking the other day about how he works to make money, but he really isn't that invested in his career. He wasn't saying this as a negative thing - he was simply saying that he's not one of those people for whom career is super important. He's infinitely more invested in his family and his hobbies, and simply works to make ends meet. I thought this was an interesting perspective, especially because in all of the circles I'm in, I feel like career is heavily emphasized and no one really sees it as an after thought to their family/personal life. Curious to hear what others think!
