What are your favorite productivity tools (professional or personal)?

I love a good old paper to-do list, but I also find calendar reminders in Outlook and Google to be super helpful when it comes to time-sensitive tasks and deadlines. Do you ever find that your productivity tool is more of a distraction/time suck than a help?

I actually use a monthly planner subscription called Silk and Sonder. I live in a tech world. I like to get organized with ink and paper. In terms of online tools, I am partial to MilaNote and Evernote for different things: Evernote as a glorified organizer of bookmarks and MilaNote as basically an online whiteboard. Between Trello, Slack, Outlook, my regular work tools, etc., it is easy to lose focus about what you actually want to accomplish.

I use Trello and have been a big fan of Wunderlist for a long time. Trello helps me keep tasks organized, and I also use it for collecting inspiration, much like Pinterest, but more organized and private.
