Tanning lotions!

I have suuuper pale skin and have never used any sort of tanning product, but this year I decided it might be nice to have a LITTLE color in the summer (without risking the sunburn I'm prone to). I started using the Jergens in-shower gradual tanning lotion a couple of weeks ago but I feel like it's barely had any effect at all. Any other inexpensive suggestions? I thought this one would be easy since there's no mess, but oh well!

I don't think Jergens works as well as some other brands. EcoTan and St. Tropez are my favorites!

I use Jergins, too, but it is the self-tanning lotion (NOT bronzer!). It works beautifully!! It comes in Light-Medium and Medium-Dark. I've been having a hard time finding it, though and hope it's not discontinued. It would work great for you. Just don't get the "bronzer" or lotion that says "glow". It is self-tanning lotion. I've used them all and this one is the fastest and best application., Good luck! Oh and it's under $20! I've used this, too, and it is the "lotion", not bronzer or glow or shimmer.. I also use cheap latex gloves for application. https://www.amazon.com/Banana-Boat-Self-Tanning-Lotion-Medium/dp/B00VK5S2P4/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=self%2Btanning%2Blotion&qid=1565723206&s=beauty&sr=1-13&th=1

Hi Suzy! I definitely feel your pain with wanting to have a little glow in the summer, without harming your skin by tanning. I have had such great luck with L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Serum. It is usually around $10 and is available at stores like Target, Walmart, or even Amazon. The color shows up in about 4 hours, so I usually try to apply it the night before I want to have a little extra color. I recommend you shave or exfoliate before applying, rub the serum in really well and make sure to wash your hands afterwards. Here's a link to the Amazon listing for it: https://www.amazon.com/LOreal-Paris-Sublime-Self-Tanning-Natural/dp/B00PFEFEAC/ref=asc_df_B00PFEFEAC/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312184363885&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1383633413116429883&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031042&hvtargid=aud-799727667774%3Apla-491914183430&th=1

L'Oreal has great products!! I personally can't use the ones that say "bronze" because it is shiny and not as natural looking on my skin.

I like Haute Bronze body glow - you can purchase at Ulta for around $28 - great gradual results.
