I'm constantly hearing advice around the value of mentorship, how to find a mentor, etc. But I'm not sure I buy the buzz. I have plenty of people in my life who've helped support and guide me, but no one who I would officially or formally call a "mentor." Am I doing my career a disservice by not having one, or should I continue doing what I am now, which is simply learning from as many people as I can? And if you DO believe in mentorship, why? How has it helped you?
