HELP! I work in a daycare center, and my director is supportive of my teaching style, values my input, and even asks my advice. The problem is that she never follows through! Things that we discuss don’t ever happen, concerns or complaints aren’t addressed, voice and emails are ignored, and so on. I have worked for her for two years, and have never received a review, even though I know they’ve been written!
I end up covering many things for her, and making excuses to the team members I lead, and to clients.
I’m ready to leave a job I love because of this. Is it the worst thing ever, or should I be happy with the positives and ignore the rest?
