New Year's resolutions that actually worked?

Hey all! I'm off work until 2020 and taking time to reflect on the past and refocus for the future. I'd like to make a new year's resolution but am looking for motivation. Has anyone set a new year resolution that has actually worked? If so, what did you try/do? Would love some inspiration! Happy Holidays and thanks for the advice in advance!

I set out to read/listen to 50 books, and it was a great one! I found myself putting down the phone or turning off the TV a lot more just to reach my goal, I made half of them be a "self-learning" book or autobiography which was very interesting. Good luck!

The past two years instead of a new year’s resolutions, I have done Ali Edwards One Little Word (https://aliedwards.com/one-little-word-2020) Basically you select one word to focus on for the year. My word for 2019 was fearless. I set goals around the word. I displayed the word in every room that I spend a lot of time in at home, my office at work, my vision board, journal and my planner. It has been amazing how often I was able to think of the word and apply it to all areas. I reflect and gratitude journal at the end of the year on my word and how I have grown because of it. My word for 2020 is Stand. Now that I have faced my fears, I will Stand in my faith. I would love to hear your word if you decide to go that route!
