Marriage is a Learning Experience

Marriage is hard and they don't tell you that enough before you sign on the dotted line. I have been married for two years and it's been a rollercoaster. How do you and your spouse get over the bumps in the road that inevitably pop up?

I have been married for 15 years . It was not easy in the first five years... but with constant conversation with my spouse, we were able to get over with the adjustment period of marriage and able to handle things we don' t agree with . Everyday is till a learning process. We have to be open minded and be able to express our feelings with our spouse in a positive way. A relationship should always have a goal , and we always keep that in mind. I always take my spouse into what ever decision and dream that I would like to pursue. The financial aspect is important, we do have our own set and common financial obligations and we agreed on that and settle things with our own or common fund. ON savings , we likewise do communicate, consult and build on this. After all we will be together until we get old and both would agree that we need to have financial resources when we retire. It is always important to have time for each other no matter how busy we are during the day. A breakfast or meal together, or if dining is not possible, a cup of coffee during the day or tea before going to bed would be a way to share each others event. Our spouse should also be our friend as well.
