Does anyone have experience as a remote independent bookkeeper? I have had many jobs as a admin, billing specialist, and coming to realize I have a lot of bookkeeping experience helping with month end reports, project management, invoicing, general ledger and all that good stuff.
My experience has been in the construction field, logistics, and real estate. I’m at a cross roads. Should I just look for a good company or try things solo starting my own business?
Ideally I’d like to work remote as I have kids.
If you have expertise in running your own business I’d like to know how you got started or if it’s better to work with a company being as that seems more financially secure.
