I have a boss that basically doesn't do anything. I'm managing the team, and working really hard to do it, and every time the team completes a successful project, she takes credit. She literally does nothing to support me or my team (she doesn't even come to the office), until she wants to shout from the mountain tops that our accomplishments are her own.
This is ridiculously annoying. I've worked really hard to show my strength as a manager, but I don't know how I'll ever be able to be recognized or get promoted again if she always takes credit for things I've done.
Has anyone been in this situation before? Any recommendations for how I can handle this?
