Comfortable work shoes

Hi all- Looking for recommendations on comfortable ballet flats or loafers. Basically looking for a professional, heel-less shoe. Any brands that are super comfy?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I usually wear casual dresses or jeans to work, but occasionally need to dress more business casual for client meetings/events. I'm going to need to revamp my shoe collection in general- so lots of brands suggested which I haven't heard of before. Thanks!!

I enjoy wearing Easy Spirit and Clark's. Both brands are comfortable and have dressy and casual loafers. I wear slacks and occasionally a dress to work in an office. I have not worn heels to work in 5 years.

My first question is what do you wear to work? If you wear a lot of knee length skirts, Merrills, which are great shoes, probably aren't your best choice. Likewise, if you wear trousers most of the time, a cute ballet flat may not be substantial enough to counter the pant leg. Of course, the other questions are, how much time do you spend on your feet? And what is your line of business? Those will also influence your choices. But, over all, as mentioned above, Cole Haan is a great brand, with a variety of style. And as I mentioned, Merrill is good, too, along with Boc Born. Not as dressy as CH, but good quality and supportive.

Hi - I wear Weejuns penny loafers and love them. I have them in a dark mahogany color and they work with black or tan or navy, which is mostly what I wear. They come in all colors though, if you're a more colorful dresser. They are classic, but since menswear inspired clothing is on trend, I think they're pretty popular right now. They're super high quality and will last. I have somewhat high arches and a little bit of a wide toe box, so ballet flats are so unsupportive and uncomfortable for me. Hope that helps!

AGLs were my go to when I worked in retail. I’d be on my feet 10+ hours a day and still be comfortable. They’re a splurge, but very durable. Rothys are great too!

Good feet store is my go to. LOVE the comfort. A bit pricey when not on sale, but totally worth it.

I really like Torrid's flats. They have wide sizes too. I also recently bought a pair of flats from Old Navy. They took some time to break in (I still have some medical tape on the heel lol), but they're very comfortable!

Have you heard of Rothys? People rave about their comfort, they're super cute, and they are made of recycled water bottles :)

I've heard the same thing. Super comfy. I'm hoping to try them one day.
