What is your employer doing about gender and diversity?
As of this year, my employer requires recruiters to bring half female or ethnically underrepresented candidates to be considered for specific jobs. Luckily we’re at a point that even the panel of interviewers can be selected as diverse, that way the perspective is broad in both spectrums. I’d love to hear what other initiatives companies are taking. Does your employer even talk about it? Better yet, are they implementing a strategy plan and has there been progress? How is G&I being incorporated with your company? And if it’s not, please share the current situation!
