Before the pandemic, I used to be incredibly busy at work. I was managing about 60-70 hour weeks non-stop and was on calls with clients from the moment I woke up to when I logged off. It was madness, and at first I was really thankful when things slowed down a bit.
Now my company's partly shifted back into the office — I'm still remote — and other teams seem to have gotten back to their pre-pandemic levels of busy. I'm not. My phone that used to ring 24/7 is basically silent.
I'm getting no work and I'm not being brought back into the office. At first I thought these were pandemic-related incidents, but now I'm really worried I'm about to get laid off.
