Wine bottle recommendations please!

Hey all! I’m not a wine connoisseur but I have a lot of friends that are. We’re all getting together here soon and I’d love to show up with a nice-ish bottle of wine. There’s a lot of red and white wine fans so either recommendation would be great! Price range: from $15-$40 a bottle Thank you!

Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon is one of my favorites! I haven't met a person who hasn't enjoyed it yet.

Red Wine; Francis Ford Coppola Cabernet Sauvignon. White Wine: Trimbach Gewurztraminer. (Gewurtraminers are a little different than the norm—intriguing blend of spicy and sweet notes.) BTW: you should be able to get a really nice bottle of wine in the $15 - $25 dollar range.

I love Chardonnay, so recommend Sonoma Cutrer or Jordan.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a Malbac wine they love? I am on a wine fantasy league with a group of ladies...sounds like fun right:)? Anyhow I am not a big red wine drinker but was wondering what others would recommend for my league as Malbac is our wine this month. thank you!

I like the Malbec from Chappellet winery here in Napa. It has a dragon on the label. When I was in South America I had a Malbec called Alma Mora, from Argentina, and it was delightful.

I love Apothic Red. It's a blend and not very fancy, but it's delicious (not too dry, not sweet). One idea is to look at Wine Spectator list for best budget buys.
