Let's talk about circuit-training folks at the gym for a quick sec.

I'm not even a "gym-going" person, really. But when I am able to fit in the occasional workout, it never fails to baffle me the number of people who think it's acceptable to take up more than one machine at a time in a packed gym, because they are "circuit training" (at least, I think that's the right word for it?). Like, I'm sorry. I would NEVER think it was in my right to claim that much space at other people's inconvenience. You're using the machine you're actually on, not the one you're planning to use next. Period. How do y'all deal with these people?? Do you think circuit training is ever OK in a shared gym space?

I find this to be very rude, selfish behavior....it reminds me of seeing a person seated at a slot machine in a casino and playing it, along with the machines on their left and on their right! I wanna say, "Greedy much"? Ughhh.... smh....

I wouldn't be a fan of this either. If I want to do circuit training at a gym, I find open floor space and do weights and use natural body resistance. You can get a great workout without using machines.

Interesting thought! I'm assuming this is a packed gym, right? Or is this requirement for all purposes? While I don't think it's a great idea to take up more than one machine, people being open to sharing a machine is another debate. I think rotating in and out with strangers is smart and effective as particular workouts require a break. But I've run into people who don't want to share even though they're taking very long breaks in between. So I guess on top of this note, how does everyone feel about sharing gym machines?
