People walking those hallways are as nervous, awkward as you feel so making eye contact and offering a kind smile can go a LONG way to making real connections and starting conversations. You don't really have to pitch - they'll ask what you're doing and you can share but try to keep it human and remember you're just having a conversation with another human :)

Hey! Congratulations! Trade shows can be super exciting but also draining... be sure to follow the advice and EAT (but not at your booth) :) Are you looking for advice on networking? Booth design? Giveaways?

^^^ Yes! Definitely have food and water with you to stay hydrated and energized. I also wonder what the current booth engagement looks like. Based on the product/industry, there are unique ways to engage.

Take a lunch break and don’t eat at your booth!

Congrats! I gave advice if you’re running a booth at a trade show. Making an effort to stay clear from your phone is definitely a good idea. Because checking emails or texting throughout will make you less approachable. Also don’t have a boring booth if you can help it. Having a way for people to walk up and engage with the product or learn about it in a fun way will keep your booth busy. Good luck!
