My office is having a cocktail party soon to celebrate our foundation's anniversary

I'm trying to decide between a tea-length dress and a shorter option, that would kind of be considered a LBD. Is that appropriate for w work function? OR should I just by default go for the longer option? They both have sleeves, so I'm not worried about that part

I think you can safely do the cocktail dress at this function. Just as long as it is not too revealing. Legs and heels and maybe a chaste string of pearls would be perfect!

I love that midi and tea length dresses are coming back instead of the mini or knee length. I vote for the longer dress, but really play with jewelry and accessories. I am a huge fan of unique bracelets and brightly colored unexpected shoes.

A little black dress is perfect attire for a cocktail party. Go forth and celebrate!

Congratulations! For more context, where is the event being held and do you work at a casual/business casual or formal environment?

The event is being held at a country club and we're a more formal environment (although we are able to wear business casual when we aren't externally facing).

You're invited.
