I don't always have my video up and running during Zoom calls (depends on who is running the meeting really).
During Skype, Zoom (and all the other platforms out there), what do you do while on a call?
If it 100% relates to my job, I take notes. Screen shots of whatever is being presented and lots of notes.
During other meetings, I have found that if I start working on a project/spreadsheet/etc., I zone out and don't get anything from the meeting. I started crocheting - it keeps my mind focused, because repetitive patterns, I don't need to look at the instructions, I just keep going and listen to the call. I can quickly drop the work into my lap if I need to take notes, and I seem to actually get information from the meetings.
What do ya'll do?
