After 6 months of unemployment I accepted a position as an inventory control specialist for $17 an hour. My previous job paid $28 an hour but covid layoffs changed everything. (Zookeeper with 20 years experience so no chance of finding that again unless I move) Here is my issue. There has been zero training and I’ve been tossed into the job and three weeks in I still feel lost. I’ve resorted to searching the company data base for any kind of training material I can find. There is no on-site HR (everything goes to corporate). Finally today I got my paycheck- for $16 an hour, not what we agreed on but nothing formal was ever written down or sent. Ugh! Advice?
