To get PRESENT.
Instead of trying to figure out what lies ahead, be in this present moment, now.
The easiest way I know to be present is to “take the elevator down.”
In other words, drop your attention below your head. Notice your immediate body sensations.
For example, as I write this, I notice:
> My left foot is much cooler than my right foot
> My stomach is gurgling
> My hands feel warm
When your mind gets too busy, “take the elevator down” and get curious about your moment to moment sensations. Describe them in a non-judgmental way.
Try it now. And again. And again.
Until you re-focus and calm your mind.
