I feel I’m stuck in a position I took 8 months ago at a low level and very low salary because I was desperate. No other offers. I was running out of unemployment.…

I wouldn't take anything personally if they traveled to close by where you live and didn't tell you. Unless they planned to meet with you, they'd have no reason to tell you. Are you feeling isolated due to working remotely? I'm not sure what your concern is - did they have meetings in person that you were remote for (and that you would have liked to have joined in person if you knew about them being there)? I recommend asking when they will next be at your home site and ask if you can meet them for an in-person discussion/coffee to strengthen connections.

Hi! I definitely have felt a lot more isolated because of the role being remote and having next to no opportunities to see the team in person. They were working on tasks that I wasn’t that closely involved with. However, I wanted to make the most of the opportunity and see them as well as see if I could shadow due to being the newbie of the team.

Before you take anything personally, you need to clarify if a slight even happened. You have full calendars (which could mean anything) and an unfamiliar person in the office (again, could be anyone). Neither of these things are sure indicators that they were there.
If you want to meet them, show some initiative and reach out asking when they will be at your site and if they are a available for a face to face meeting or coffee.

I completely understand that there may have been not much time for us to meet, which could be a valid reason as to why I wasn’t made aware of them coming in the first place. I was updated by someone else in the office that it was in fact members of my team so at least I got that clarity.
I did send a message to the second-in-command so hopefully they’ll be aware that it would be nice to meet face-to-face sometime soon - she hasn’t responded yet but will monitor.
