I was in healthcare for 10 years. Once I graduated college I got hired in the bank. This is a very different field and I do miss healthcare and have been waiting to go back to it for a few months.

Perhaps you could combine your experience and get into a financial support position to get your foot back in the door with a healthcare provider, then get training to fill in whatever gaps you have to transfer to the area of healthcare you desire. You may want to look into employer-sponsored or reimbursed training also.

What did you do in health care? What was your degree in? What do you do now?
I worked in health care for many years - probably close to 15-20 and then an additional 10 years in a health-care adjacent company. I was never directly involved with patient care but more support for the providers at various capacities, and I do miss it. But I also realize that it's not the most stable industry to get into.
