Especially when I am trying to promote. Negative things have happened at the work place in regards to diversity and I feel that I am constantly under the radar. Go to person for everything but not good enough to promote. Is there such a thing as work PTSD- post traumatic stress disorder?

Hi Shareen, I have been in your position and learned to advocate for myself by showing people coming to me for answers and help as a leadership strength. I have also been burnt out at work from being the go to person. I would suggest building a plan on talking points with your manager on how you can tie in your conversations you've had with your co-workers into a promotion. Be sure to practice discretion though and not name any particular co-worker but you can share something along the lines of "I am getting feedback from the team (example). Here is how I helped them handle the situation and how we can help the team going forward." I wish you all the best and hope your PTSD subsides. It's a hard one to shake.
