I'm at a point in my career where the types of roles I'm looking for aren't frequently advertised (either because there isn't a lot of turnover or not all companies have these types of roles). In this situation, how do others harness their motivation to apply for roles somewhat outside of your target spot? I'm finding it hard to get excited about opportunities I see on job boards. I know job seeking is very much a numbers game and I need to just apply, but I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to do it when the jobs aren't quite right. How would some of you get and stay motivated in this situation?
