If people leave bosses, not companies, how do you address those issues in an interview?
If you are leaving a job due to a negative, toxic, or otherwise ridiculous boss, how do you navigate this during an interview for your next role? In a previous candidate selection role, I saw many job applications that listed their reason for leaving as "problems with management". I dont recommend this. As a manager, it reads: "can't handle conflict".
There are ways to tactfully focus on the ways that your role was hindered by such a boss, but how can you convey it in a way that doesn't put you in this light of inflexibility? Thoughts?
