Quantcast
One thing that I tend to notice, more than anything when observing leadership, is the lack of support, understanding, and the true ability to listen. I received this article via email from the Character Lab, and I don't think they could have put it in more perfect of words. (If you have never heard of the Character Lab, you should check them out!) People have feelings, and you cannot ask them to shut them off when they come to work. That is like waiting for the erupting volcano to finally burst. When someone on your team isn't performing like you are used to seeing them perform, and they aren't their normal, cheerful self, and their only emotionally reacting, something is up. You should check on them, and ask them how they are doing. But most of all, JUST LISTEN. | Fairygodboss
