Well this is rather disappointing but the conclusion of this study is not that it’s a bad thing to roll out paid parental leave / it’s just not enough to simply have a policy without considering the broader context.
I left a very toxic work environment (strictly for my mental health) after 9 months of employment.
It was a company, and boss, that I had worked for prior to the pandemic and had left for the same concerns but he managed to convince me that the culture had changed. As soon as I realized that wasn't the case - I jumped. Too fast, in fact. I started my own company in another career field and, though it's ramping up nicely, I'm finding that it's not "filling my bucket" and it's really something that I would prefer to do part-time, not full-time. That being said - I'm considering applying for a remote position in sales (my passion and 20+ years experience) and am wondering:
Do I add my new company to my resume
It IS on my LinkedIn profile, will this be a concern for the potential employer? And, if so, how do I address it?
It really is something that I can do in the evening and on weekends without it conflicting with a typical Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm work week.
I'm really hoping that, in my haste to get out, I didn't sabatoge my future.

What was something you grew up being told that you believed to be true?
The limiting beliefs that we have are saved in our subconscious mind when we are little, and it's basically something that is created out of the experiences that we have or the things that we hear or the things that we see, and the interpretations that we give to all of those things.
So it's not actually that someone tells you: “You know what, you're not enough”, something like that. But, maybe the behaviors or the comments or the things that we hear, make us feel that we're not enough. That belief stays in our subconscious mind, recorded there from the time that we are 9 -10 years old.
The thing is that the brain is used to really going and checking what is in our subconscious mind and based on the beliefs that we have, the brain reacts. So, most of the reactions that we have, and the fear that we have or the lack of confidence that we might feel sometimes is coming from a reaction from our brain connecting to that belief, stored in our subconscious mind.

For whatever reason she is ignoring me. I barely know her or spike much expect about work related things. She makes eye contact with everyone but me in our small office. Do I say something or kill get with kindness. Thank you for your help!

Remote jobs more difficult to find
So more and more companies now have gone to an on-site or hybrid working model, especially in the financial sector where I work. Because of family circumstances long commute or relocation is not possible for me right now, yet finding jobs close by is not easy. What big and stable companies offer remote work even at higher management positions?
