I invest in myself.
Last weekend, it was this $10 game changer at Target (and yes, I’ll answer all 3000 questions).
The first question reads “What is your idea of perfect happiness?” I started writing and eventually flowed down the side of the page. I’d forgotten how much I love perfume!
It was in that moment I recalled a fragrance sampler in Macy’s that I decided against. Well, I invested in myself again and ordered the sampler.
This morning, I purchased a $97 course. There are free ways to invest in myself but I recognize free will only take me so far. Investing in myself comes with a cost; the cost of not maximizing my potential and the obvious - financial costs associated with growth.
I invest in myself in many ways but rationale behind it all: I’m worth it.
