You ladies inspire me as you share your health journey successes! I’m not as consistent as I’d like to be so it always helps to know that: (a) I’m not alone (b) another woman’s success serves as a motivational catalyst for progress. Congratulations to both of you!!

Less of a goal, more of progress towards a goal, but I re-kickstarted my health kick! A few years back I lost a good amount of weight and it was something I was really proud of, but since then I've kind of maintained where I'm at (which isn't bad, but it's not where I want to be). So this month, I started going to the gym and yoga more and I signed back up for WW to track my eating. It's super easy and my friends love it, so here goes nothing!

Good for you! I lost 75 pounds on WW -- it's the real deal and is scientifically based. I've been a lifetimer for 17 years, and I continue to go to meetings every week because I need the support to stay on track. I love that it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change -- it's the only way I've ever lost weight and kept it off. I'm not perfect -- I have gained some back, but when I work the program, the program works! And I've lost 10 pounds since August because I've been working it....

I am in a small team developing an app. This month I have been repeatedly commended by the customer for doing great work and I am their preferred POC. They have stated this in front of my team and my boss. To add here is that I am not the team lead and the other team members are also doing a good job, which makes me even more proud to be recognized to this level.

My start-up got it's first chunk of money that was not from my bank account. Woo! I have worked half of my career (the early half) in startup but never as a founder and through this journey, I have learned that although I know the individual bricks of fund-raising but I didn't know how to build the wall, so I'm beyond thrilled to get some fund-raising traction.

WHOA! That’s huge Barb....Congratulations!! It’s one thing to fund your dream; it’s something else when others see the value in what you do and are willing to invest financially.

I just organized a Lunch & Learn for my entire department last week. The Senior Vice President in charge not only came, but wrote me a thank you note! I got great feedback from many attendees, and one person told me it was the best Lunch & Learn he'd attended in 10 years at the company!

Great work Ginny! Use that note from the Sr VP to check in again in a few weeks - you could find yourself with a new advocate!
