How are you caring for yourself in this current season? •I’m revisiting my goals as well as my 2020 vision. •I’m evaluating self-care and am in the process of scheduling an appointment before the end of March with my therapist. •I’m redefining boundaries. •I’m enjoying time with those I love whether it’s a text, a phone call or seeing them face to face. •I’m investing in “future fun”. •I’m investing in my development. | Fairygodboss

Totally support your “what you focus on expands”!!! My husband and I have had a vision and quest for over a year to have enough money to pay off a large ticket item we enjoy and want to keep. Guess what???? Our savings account expanded enough for us to be able to do so and that’s what I’m giving to him for his birthday present!!!!

Biting my nails and thinking about the psychological affect this chapter in our lives will cause. And yet holding on to the belief that the universe will heal itself while we do our part. God’s speed to us all.

Shifting the paradigm of work and home life!

This season my word has been connection. I evaluated what my stated priorities were in my relationships and if I was acting like they were. Example, I know many working moms who say their priority is family, yet they work 10-12 hours a day or travel 250+ days a year. So, in evaluating that, if family is priority, then setting different hours to have that time with family has to happen. If traveling is a must, maybe you hire a house cleaner so when your home you can spend quality time with the family. With that, those connections I want in my life are with people who elevate my thinking. With those who I absolutely love, my own children and significant other. With those who are genuine and authentic with the ability to not just focus on self, but share their insights and gifts to give back. Those are the connections I am making. Giving my full attention to those relationships. Finding ways to maximize my time in order to make those connections a priority. What are others doing?

Setting a goal is one thing, evaluating progress and your intention is something else. Kudos to you Jacqueline!! My word for this year is generational. In this season I’m working with an attorney to ensure my business is legally sound. I plan to leave an inheritance for my “children’s children” although I’m not a mother! My goal is to bless my family while I’m alive but also be a blessing to future generations.
