Not only is it impossible, it’s an unrealistic expectation. Something else to leave in 2019. #PowHerMoves

This was me. However, for sanity, I've become much better at delegating and setting priorities (making sure I too am a priority)

It's very hard. I turned 25 in August. I have a one year old and a four year old. I attend college online, while working as a recruiter. My boyfriend of 8 years is helpful with our children and provides, but our relationship is tainted. It's hard to fully complete things....it's hard to focus on one thing at a time....I want to be the best at everything. Just don't know how to balance my career, time, and relationships with people.

Balance is something I struggle with as well Alexis but I now prioritize it in ways I haven’t in the past. What that means is I’ve identified my goals, my values; I’ve created my vision and I’ve defined what success looks like for me personally as well as professionally. I’m generous with my “no” when opportunities arise that don’t align with what I envision. Of course there are exceptions, things I haven’t considered that may get a yes but typically, I manage my time and create space in my life for myself as well as the things and people I love. Instead of trying to do everything, do one thing at a time with excellence then move on to the next. Your progress will demonstrate that perhaps you can “have everything”, just not all at once. Lastly, take care of yourself. You won’t be able to do anything well when you’re not well physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally and financially.
