One thing we really appreciated was Jess talking about building "a small but mighty army of so many freelancers" that help share the burden of running the business which allows her to share the burden of running the magazines. As entrepreneurs, we know that we tend not to ask for help when we need it and get over-extended trying to do too much. It was a good reminder to us to ask for help. It's all about the journey!
How do you take that time to reflect? What questions should we be asking ourselves?

We totally agree! We are always so busy being on to the next thing that sometimes we forget to stop and reflect. When we do (and we try to do it more often), we really focus on what went well and don't beat ourselves up over what went wrong. We've talked to women who point out that many women are perfectionists, so we get hung up on not doing something because it might not be 100% right. But the act of doing the thing, even if it's flawed, is a huge success that needs to be celebrated. So we acknowledge the mistakes but pat ourselves on the back for having done the thing. It inspires us to do more.
