My sister is working from home.
My sister said Zoe won’t indulge in quiet time or a nap while she’s on calls.
My sister said her colleagues greet Zoe during conference calls because they hear her in the background.
My sister also said Zoe decided to sing Old Macdonald all day yesterday.
How are you doing with your new normal?

I agree! I started coaching Zoe’s big sister when she was 4. We talk about leadership, her business and I seek her input to build confidence in her decision making abilities. We have to be intentional as it relates to installing confidence in our children at an early age.

It depends on my mood. My music tastes vary. My first favorite song is Candyman by Sammy Davis jr. In grammar school we had to sing and I enjoyed it immensely!

WOW!! He mixes it with love and makes the world taste good. Timely thought...thanks for adding an extra ray of sunshine to my day.
She is already learning how to be a strong, independent woman at such a young age! She feels and "looks" important right there! :) Such a beauty!

Thank you Angela. The nurses told my sister when she was born “Zoe will let you know when she doesn’t like something.” I thought how do they know?!? She’s still developing (she weighed 1lb when she was born). I have no further questions for the nurses. She’s definitely a leader and is extremely vocal (a nice way of saying she’s loud). Hahaha

I can Vicki! Hahahaha!! She’s a handful!! I’ve gone from “I’m going to homeschool Zoe” when she was first born to “I’ve changed my mind.”

Zoe is super cute and stylist! I think right now with the COVID-19 and people working from home, they are now more than ever accepting and welcoming of the extra people or animals that join the conference calls!

I agree. Before you would hear comments like “I can’t believe the Recruiter contacted me with her dog barking in the background.” Nowadays, people are grateful that Recruiters are contacting them for an interview and are navigating through meetings, conversations, etc. WITH the background noise.

I think Zoe's got the right idea! It has been so nice to meet everyone's coworkers (kids and pets!) over the last couple weeks.

Yes, without isolating any one person as we figure out how to get this work done collectively.

I am training remotely for a new job which is strange enough but during a conference call my cat tried to steal the pencil I was using. I only wish it was a video call !
