Kicking off this group with a snapshot from my past weekend in Paris! Flights from New York (where I live) to Paris are only getting cheaper, it seems. So last week, I caught a red eye on a Wednesday night/Thursday morning and was back in NYC by Sunday night. Was it a slightly ambitious idea? Yes. Am I still catching up on sleep? Also yes. But I'm trying to be more intentional about carving out pockets of adventure time for myself, rather than rigidly adhering to the notion that a “trip is only worth taking if X amount of time can be spent there.” Time isn’t a guarantee that we have, and at the end of the day, if a few days away from the grind to soak in new experiences is what I’ve got, those are still a few days worth capitalizing upon. Would love to hear from you all — have you done anything similar? What’s the farthest you’ve traveled for the least amount of time, and what made it worthwhile? | Fairygodboss

P.s. this photo was taken in Montmartre, my favorite neighborhood, at the Musée de Montmartre, a super darling museum where Renoir once had a studio!
