[Recorded on June 10, 2021]
Amber specializes in providing comprehensive financial guidance to successful women, business owners, and entertainment industry professionals to help them reach their full financial potential. She prides herself on making personal connections with her clients, developing long-term solutions, and turning their dreams into reality.
Amber received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, she spent several years working in the entertainment industry. Her interest in film and TV goes back to when she was just 16 years old. Her pursuit of this passion eventually led to Amber's job running a post-production facility as EVP of Operations. However, when she found herself looking for an industry-change, Amber followed her natural knack for numbers and decided to become a financial advisor, where she is able to make a positive and measurable impact on people’s lives through financial guidance. She values doing the right thing by their clients every day.
In 2020, Amber Romo was honored by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a nominee for the Women’s Leadership Awards Program, which showcases women leaders in the Los Angeles business community. In 2021, Amber Romo became the first female Managing Director in the Ontario (Plocher Network) Office, and the office is set to open in July.
Amber was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She now resides in the Inland Empire with her husband, Johnny, their daughters, Cailin and Taylor, and their dog Lilly.
