CDW is coworker and family focused and remains compliant with all Federal and State leave regulations, in addition to providing competitive and valuable benefits to the workforce as appropriate for their family needs.
Paid Primary Caregiver Leave: If you are acting as the primary caregiver by providing the child with the majority of his/her care during the entire period of parental leave, you will be eligible for up to 8 weeks of paid leave (depending on length of service). Primary caregiver status is designated by the coworker and is not based on the coworker’s gender.
Non Primary Caregiver Leave: If you are not the primary caregiver for the child (as defined above), you are eligible for 2 weeks of regular earnings.
Unpaid Leave: New parents who are FMLA eligible can take up to 12-weeks of unpaid time to care for their newborn per federal guidelines.
Short Term Disability: For eligible coworkers, CDW provides short-term disability coverage after one year of service. Percentage payable is a tiered percentage starting at 50% of a coworkers average earnings and increases based on years of service.
CDW knows that managing work and personal life is a balancing act and offers a number of resources and services to help make life a little easier at home.
The CDW Kids Club is a community of hopeful, expecting and current parents. The Kids Club provides unique and fun virtual activities for CDW Kids as well as seasonally relevant resources on family-building, parenting and family-friendly CDW benefits and programs.
