      At PepsiCo, we encourage our associates to courageously engage and drive change. Whether thats standing up and speaking out, sharing opinions or experiences, or creating an environment conducive to dialogue.

      Our associates are invited to participate in employee resource groups (ERGs) to help drive a culture of diversity, inclusion and engagement. We support their collective efforts by telling their stories, including events such as the celebration of International Women's Day by our Women's Inclusion Network, events around Pride Month led by EQUAL, our group for LGBT+  employees and allies, to the inspiring work of MOSAIC, our ERG for Black associates, through celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Black History Month events in the U.S.

      We have also taken the CEO action pledge, which is supporting a more inclusive workplace for employees, communities, and society at large.

      Women Focused ERGs:

      • WIN Employee Resource Group (ERG): Women's Inclusion Network aims to strengthen our culture and promote a work environment that attracts, retains, and develops women and creates a more inclusive PepsiCo.
      • WOC Employee Resource Group ERG: The mission of the Women of Color (WoC) Employee Resource Group is to assist PepsiCo in identifying strategies to increase representation, providing meaningful career development opportunities, and elevating Women of Color worldwide.

      parental leave
      Overview

      In the U.S., PepsiCo offers 6 weeks of paid Parental Leave to new moms and new dads after the birth or adoption of a child. Combined with short-term disability, new mothers can receive up to 10 weeks, or more if they have a caesarian, of paid leave after the birth of a child (up to 12 weeks if delivery by C-section). Our paid Parental Leave policy applies to both salaried and hourly employees.

      Paid maternity
      Yes, In addition to 6 weeks of paid Parental Leave mothers are eligible for 6 weeks of short-term disability leave for a natural delivery or 8 weeks for a C-section.
      Unpaid maternity
      Yes, Family/Medical Leave is available up to 12 weeks total for the year and runs concurrently with Short-Term Disability Leave and/or Parental Leave.
      Paid paternity
      Yes, PepsiCo offers paid Parental Leave to eligible employees to allow for a time of bonding with their newborn or newly adopted child. Up to six weeks of paid Parental Leave is available for births or adoptions.
      Unpaid paternity
      Yes, Family/Medical Leave is available, up to 12 weeks.
      Paid adoptive
      Yes, paid Parental Leave up to 6 weeks.

      Yes, There are numerous PepsiCo locations with designated facilities for nursing mothers, called Mothers Rooms.  Each location is slightly different in terms of access to the rooms and the equipment available.
      Fertility
      Yes, Fertility Solutions Program: eligible members can participate in the Reproductive Resource Services Program (RRSP) designed to help members understand fertility treatment options, follow the best treatment process, and maximize their benefits. There is a combined (medical and prescription drug claims) lifetime maximum of $35,000.
      Post maternity
      Yes, Pepsico provides a family support app called Cleo, designed to help employees navigate the joys and journey of parenthood. Cleo allows you to virtually connect with a network of experts through the app for guidance, from pregnancy until your child's first birthday. You'll be assigned a Cleo Guide, who will provide individualized support and connect you to family health experts such as lactation specialists, baby doulas, baby sleep consultants and career coaches.
      Maternity leave coaching

      • Back up child care (in-home or center-based) when your regular child care provider is unavailable. 
      •  Bright Horizons child care discounts. Preferred enrollment and registration fee credit at participating Bright Horizons child care centers nationwide.
      • Other child care discounts including tuition discounts and waived registration fees at participating non-Bright Horizons network centers nationwide and discounts at Kindercare centers.
      • Free access to Sittercity, a website that connects parents with local in-home care plus unlimited, free, basic background checks. 
      • Dependent Care Reimbursement Account allowing you to set aside tax-free dollars to reimburse eligible day care expenses. Up to $5,000 a year.
      • Onsite/nearsite child care in Purchase for Westchester area employees. 

       Child care support (US). 

      • We offer a number of child care support and enrichment options to help parents with school age children. These include tutoring options at discounted rates for private or small groups through Bright Horizons partners; Learning Pods, including help finding educators to guide in-home learning for small groups or one child; and free premium membership to Sittercity to connect employees with local care providers, including free basic background checks. We also offer onsite or near-site child care at a few of our larger locations, including the PEPstart onsite child care center at our global headquarters in Purchase, NY. 
      •  Cleo family support system (US). We introduced Cleo to help new parents virtually connect with a network of experts for guidance, from pre-pregnancy through a child's first birthday. Cleo provides individualized support and connects parents with family health experts such as lactation specialists, baby doulas, baby sleep consultants and career consultants.

                • PepsiCo offers $25,000 lifetime IVF treatment maximum. They use standard pre-authorization and lifetime medication maximum is limited, but limitations vary. Their plan will refuse to cover PGS testing, but will not exclude any clinic.
