From these 12 EBRG groups, there are over 100 chapters in which approximately 15k employees participate across more than 30 PNC markets.
Diversity recruiting
Yes, as an organization we partner with external organizations to recruit diverse talent. This is accomplished through participation in national conferences, regional networking and recruiting initiatives, as well as through summits we host for both professionals and junior talent. PNC partners with over 40 external organizations that help foster an inclusive culture for all our employees, to include our LGBTQ+ colleagues, women and people of color. We are proud to partner with organizations like Forté, AnitaB.org, Association of Latino Professionals for America, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, Recruit Military and others. Some examples of our in-house events include annual Leadership Education and Diversity (L.E.A.D.) summits, during which we invite diverse undergraduate students to learn about the financial services industry, provide an opportunity to meet senior leaders and discuss various diversity initiatives. We also host a Women in Tech Talk virtual event where students and professionals are able to connect with PNC female leaders and allies in Technology to receive mentoring, as well as information about early- and mid-career level opportunities. In support of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we host a Disability Mentoring Day that provides students who identify as having a disability with an opportunity to learn about careers in banking and how we’re making PNC a more accessible place to work and bank. - Six work-weeks of paid time off
- Parental leave is in addition to maternity leave for eligible mothers (see below)
Maternity Leave (Full-Time Employees)
- Eligible birth mothers receive 10 work-weeks of paid time off under the short-term disability plan
- Birth mothers are also eligible for Parental Leave as described above, for a total of up to 16 weeks of paid time off when Parental Leave and Maternity Leave are combined.

- PNC Financial Services Group offers 16 fully paid weeks off for new moms. They also offer 6 weeks off for adoptive parents.
- Employees who haven’t worked for up to a year are not eligible for paid maternity leave. It’s sad, I found out today.
- I've worked at PNC for three years -- ALL Maternity leave is 16 weeks FULLY paid.
