Paid Time Off (PTO)
Sonatype believes that it is important for you to have a work/life balance and provides the following PTO benefits, which are vacation, sick, and personal leave combined: The greater of 15 days per calendar year (5 hours per pay period) or the required statutory amount. The amount of PTO increases
to 20 days per year after 3 years, then increases to 25 days per year after 6 years. Employees can use PTO immediately—there is no waiting period.
Volunteer Time Off (VTO)
To help support all Sonatype employees with their charitable and volunteer initiatives, employees receive 1 (one) day of Volunteer Time Off per year.
The birth or adoption of a child is a momentous occasion in any parent’s life. After 1 (one) year of service, Sonatype offers up to 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for parents who are welcoming a child into their family via birth or adoption.

Floating Holidays
If you are a regular, full-time employee, you will receive three floating holidays per year in addition to Paid Time Off and Sonatype’s regular holidays. These three floating holidays allow employees to have additional paid leave to cover absences for personal reasons, such as religious observances or parent-teacher conferences, or to supplement vacation, sick and holiday leave.
