Overview
Beginning July 1st, we extended our childbirth leave from 6 weeks to 8 weeks for the birthing parent. We also extended our parental leave from 4 weeks to 8 weeks for the non-birthing parent. So, the birthing parent will now get 16 weeks paid leave and the non-birthing parent will get 8 weeks paid leave.

Yes, birthing mothers receive two (2) weeks of unpaid maternity leave

Yes, non-birthing parents are eligible for unpaid leave for eight (8) weeks
Paid adoptive
Yes, adoptive parents and domestic partners are eligible for four (4) weeks of Parental Leave at 100% of earnings
Short term disability
Yes,
short-term disability is available to birthing mothers who deliver by cesarean birth. The mother would be eligible for Childbirth Leave and two weeks of short-term disability
