Under the Terex Extended Maternity Leave, a team member may receive up to ten (10) weeks of 100% paid leave for the purpose of giving birth to and taking care of a newborn child(ren).

Short term disability
Yes, The 100% paid leave under the Terex Extended Maternity Leave is achieved by supplementing a team member’s Short-Term Disability (STD) compensation with Extended Maternity Leave pay. Specifically, this extended leave benefit and STD run concurrently. Team members who are STD eligible and have been approved for maternity leave will be paid 67% of pay for a period of 6 or 8 weeks, depending on the type of delivery.

In addition to our maternity and second caregiver leaves, Terex offers Family Leave. This is a period of approved time off to care for an immediate family member who has a serious health condition.  Terex team members may be eligible for 100% of pay for one leave of up to two (2) consecutive weeks per rolling 12-month period.
