"Be prepared for being over worked. There are too many projects for the amount of staff. People come and go from BH because the pay and benefits are good, but the work and environment is not. There is also a huge amount of red tape to get anything done. "

"There are numerous support such as Employee Resource Group on Women's Network. Also office has designated rooms for breastfeeding mothers, some location has seperate storage fridge for pumped milk. Flexible working hours is important as there is need to be at home certain days, or times. There is also caregiver leave which helps so much when one would need to attend PTAs, doctor appointments, sports day, etc."

I had a daughter last year - both at the end of my pregnancy and when I came back to work, I was able to change the location of some internal meetings to be near me, so that I could attend in person and not travel (I work from home, so people went out of their way to travel to me!). I felt very supported when I went on leave to have my daughter. When I did finally have to travel, the company paid for daily milk shipment kits so that I could pump and overnight milk back home in a frozen container!"
