"HQ Staff: If you're still in the process of starting your family, this is not the place to do it. There is no maternity leave, you have 5 weeks of disability paid at 66% (and then taxed) and then good luck. If you are finished having kids then policies are good - generous time off and sick time."
Overall Job Satisfaction:
Are women & men treated equally?
One thing Boys & Girls Clubs of America can improve?
"Improve work-life balance and policies (e.g. flex-time, limit face time)"
Level of Flexibility
"HQ Staff: Departments and managers within departments have completely different views on flexibility and work-life balance. While everyone can adjust hours, not everyone is able to work from home (even on just a one-off instance, like needing to wait all day for cable guy). Every team is understaffed and the workload can be grueling."
Work-Life Friendly Attributes:
Did you take Maternity leave?
"5 weeks disability paid at 66% before taxes. All other paid time is whatever sick days you have accrued, if any."
