"I'm not sure about all the other areas, however, in the retail banking sector, it is very difficult to be a single mom in this environment. They have cut staffing in all the locations and there is no flexibility in terms of the hours you can work. If you are in any kind of management role, you really need some kind of family or child care support because you work more than 40 hours."
