"Women are valued, especially in support roles. Senior level leadership and above to executive level leadership does not have a close ratio of men to women. However, there is a CPO (Chief People Officer) who does advocate for fairness and equal opportunity. "

"I did not take maternity leave here but this employer has influenced my personal decision on whether I want to have more children due to only receiving short term disability payments up to 6 weeks. After six weeks you are covered only under the rights of the FMLA act up to 6 more weeks with no pay. "

"Cognizant is starting to make efforts to achieve gender equity but there is a long way to go. Parental leave policies and vacation days are far below competition but other benefits are comparable."
