"Top management has strong biases, and culture flows down from there. Typical stuff, a woman makes a point and is ignored. A man makes the same point and is celebrated. A woman asks a question, and top management directs the answer to a distinguished-looking male as though the question was asked by him. A clear policy against telecommuting combined with long hours, last-minute travel requests and routine demands for availability during off-hours and vacation makes it tough to maintain here long-term unless you have no family, or a spouse who can take care of the household and tolerates this."

"Unlimited vacation time, corporate office has a mother's room and a kids room which all sound great but company culture and expectations don't support work-life/family balance. No parental policy in place. "

"We currently do not have a parental leave policy in place. The current expectation is that to be successful in our company and have kids your spouse must be a stay-at-home parent."
