"Post pandemic this may be a more flexible company for parents. Pre-pandemic I would have encouraged any woman to join the company only if (1) she had the hours to give or (2) was exceptional at setting boundaries and sticking to them"

"The updated maternity & parental leave policies are competitive. (For birth parents, 15 weeks 100% pay & 6 weeks 100% pay for non-birth parents.) It is a good company and you see female leadership throughout each organization and within the executive team. Unfortunately, career pathing is not a strong suit and it can result in having a lack of trajectory. To keep the best talent, they need to be more competitive with career growth opportunities and compensation, establish better work/life balance, and stop rewarding good work with MORE work. "

"While supportive, we've had high turnover in leadership (5 leaders in the last 3 years -- even more if looking back further) -- so this is tricky. "

"The new maternity leave benefits are great -- 16 weeks paid! There are several women in leadership positions, although not as many as you may like. Work/life balance depends a lot on your specific team and role. Certain positions can be very demanding and/or require a lot of travel, which can make work/life balance more difficult."

"The company as a whole has a good stance in terms of gender balance, but individual managers can be less than flexible when it comes to needing flex hours and more work from home time for family care."

"Smart and fun people to work with in general, but I’d say some teams or even whole departments have a toxic dynamic built into their daily operation. As someone else mentioned it does have the feel of an old boys club, and it can even seem at times that men’s ideas are more valued over women's. Organizational culture makes me think of old-school practices still deeply ingrained. For instance, they offer work from home flexibility after hitting 6 months to 1-year mark depending on when you join, but this is something that pretty much everyone will quietly judge you for if you do decide to take advantage of this perk and I have heard similar stories from moms working flex/part-time. Also, Forrester has a somewhat generous time-off policy although a majority of folks take pride in not using up their vacation time."

"The culture here is really dependent on which department you work in. I worked in an area that was made up of mostly women so work-life balance was understood and there were never issues for any of the working mothers that I knew to leave early, or take time off/work from home when there issues related to their children."

"Forrester upper management has made it clear they don't want to expand the maternity leave policy, and there is a limited number of women in leadership roles. That said, the company culture overall is pretty great. I work with a lot of smart, fun people."

"This company has a lot of women, but like most - lacks many at the top tiers and on the executive team. For the most part you are treated fairly, but there is a lingering feeling of an old boys club. Maternity leave is pretty limited, nothing special just the 10 weeks you can get paid through disability at 80%. Requests to extend the leave are denied. Any bonus you are eligible for is reduced by your time out on leave, but goals and expectations are not reduced. (you have to perform as if you were here 12 months, but you are only given a bonus for 9 months of work)"
