"They have really transitioned to being flexible for everyone to work remote even if they live in a city with an office, and that was before all of the COVID-19 stuff. With the pandemic they stepped up and made it possible for everyone outside of production to work remote and put in place social distancing, cleaning and PPE for those who couldn't work remote."

"Gannett is in a constant flux keeping up with the market and competitors. Prioritization clarity lacking. Career growth path lacking. Never faced disparity due to gender. Though remote workers have to make an extra extra effort to stand out."

"I've worked with many women throughout my Ganneett career and liked that pre-split we had a woman CEO. Have had many colleagues who were working mothers and were able to have schedules that accommodated things like dropoff/pickup, breast feeding, sick kids, etc. "

"You can expect to be paid less than male peers, Taking time off for family is frowned upon but you aren't always asked - so don't volunteer it. Work/life balance just doesn't exist - you have to protect your time fiercly. If you're lucky you'll get a great manager, it's about 50/50. "
