"Very antiquated culture regarding family balance (most team members have wives who stay home) and taking time off after having a baby. Makes caring for sick children difficult and stressful. "

"Flexibility varies from team to team and your manager's personality. 401K, vacation, sick, medical/vision/dental are all excellent. Only very uncompetitive trait is family leave. No 100% paid maternity/paternity. No leave duration past the standard 12 week FMLA unless you qualify for STD/LTD due to physician approved medical reasons. Unpaid personal leave is an option, but coworkers that I know who have asked for it have been turned down. Keep in mind this is for U.S. "

"My department is managed by predominantly women. The company has a Women's Network with several events/meetings per month. Maternity leave is 6 weeks, 100% paid and an additional 6 weeks unpaid. Work days are 7.5 hours and my department offers work from home several days per week."
